Cold foams
Properties and use
The name cold foam is derived from the production technology (cold foaming). These foams are highly flexible and used for better quality mattresses. There is a technological operation in the production cycle of these foams, so-called artificial deformation, which gives the foams a longer service life. Polyurethane foams are delivered in sheets of many dimensions, blocks and rolls. Foams are produced in many variants. The marking of PUR foam is HR XX XX, first two digits indicating the density and the second two digits indicating hardness (resistance to compression). For example, foam HR 45-42 is a foam with a density of 45 kg/m3 and a resistance to compression of 4,2 kPa.
